The pin locations are different than the ones for the EC11 encoder, so you can not use this encoder in place of that.

Due to the shorter 15mm stem, the non-aluminum knobs commonly used for other builds are not fully compatible, as the height of them prevents them from being pressed down. However, they can still be rotated. The aluminum knobs with the shorter height are suggested instead.
