Portable, simple, cute!

I'm so happy with this board! It's my first 40%. I was looking for something a little more portable than my daily driver (Iris rev 7) and the DSP40 was exactly it. It's also a great project to work on if you're just learning how to solder. I do wish there were acrylic plates to purchase alongside the PCB for a more durable build, but that can be easily remedied with the 3D-printed case files linked in the product description, third-party vendors, or a simple soft case (what I ended up using).

Great affordable 40%

I had so much fun putting this thing together, and it was my first time soldering a pcb. However it was very easy. I built this using Marandi switches and CYL Dots R2 keycaps and it turned out great. Highly recommend. Keebio was also really nice, as I had forgot to add the plate to the order and they gave it to me with no extra shipping cost.

I got this to use it as a Keeb for my Steam deck and get into Soldering. The soldering process is lowkey and good for first timers. After an hour ish of soldering, it was done, so I wanted to print the case. Once that was done, I realized that there was a flaw (may be only on my end) with the usb-c hole in the bottom shell, but fixed with a bit of sanding. Now just waiting on the screws and caps to come in. Overall a good board for portability, ergonomics, and good for beginning to solder.
