The Quefrency LM is a low-profile variant of the Quefrency keyboard! Reprogrammable to any keymap layout you'd like with QMK/VIA! We've worked up case parts for the Quefrency LM PCB series that offer a more premium feel than other ergo split keyboard offerings.

The Quefrency LM is a great ergonomic keyboard for newbies! This kit is easy to assemble with the hotswap sockets on the PCB (no soldering needed!), just supply your own screwdriver and follow our build guide.

This board is also replacing the Cepstrum, providing the usage of Choc V1 and Choc V2 switches, while having standard MX keyspacing.

  • Pre-flashed with QMK Firmware and VIA configurator support
  • With VIA configurator, you can reprogram the board without needing to know how to setup QMK and/or QMK Toolbox
  • Demo video of VIA
  • Compatible with Windows, macOS, Linux, and other operating systems
  • STM32G431 microcontrollers
  • Per-key RGB LEDs
  • Hotswap sockets - change out your switches easily!
  • Quefrency LM PCB is compatible with Choc V1 and Choc V2 switches (2-pin version only for V2, 3-pin compatible if extra pin is clipped off)
  • Key spacing: 19.05mm vertical, 19.05mm horizontal (Standard MX spacing)
  • USB-C ports for both connection to computer and in between halves
  • Weight (Keyboard w/o carrying case): Aluminum case - TBD
  • Dimensions: TBD

For Aluminum Case:

  • Aluminum switch plates
  • EVA foam switch support layer

This keyboard uses the popular open-source QMK Firmware with VIA enabled out of the box to allow you to remap all the keys just the way you want them.

Plug your keyboard in, open up the VIA app, and easily change what each key does to get the most out of your keyboard with your customizations! More info on what you can do here: VIA Usage Guide

Tilt/tent your Quefrency LM keyboard with the MagSafe Tenting Kit!

You can also design your own attachments to the bottom of the case. The holes on the bottom are spaced in a 50x90mm rectangle and are large enough for M2 screws to go through them.

Both the Quefrency and Cepstrum are low-profile, and the primary difference between the two is that the Cepstrum has a more compact spacing between the keys.

  • Cepstrum keyspacing: 17mm vertical, 18mm horizontal
  • Quefrency LM keyspacing: 19.05mm vertical and horizontal

Quefrency LM is also compatible with more low-profile switches.
