Great quality, super easy to assemble. Zero issues so far and was simple to remap. I chose the CE because it fits my small hands the best. This was my first split and I appreciated that it's pretty much plug and play for a beginner. I purchased switches (Sunsets) separately. The only downside is that I can't use it with my tablet but this was purchased primarily for PC use anyway. I'm very happy with it.

I had been using the Iris SE for a couple years when the CE came out. As a contractor, I use my own hardware for work and would sometimes take it with me to a client's office for a day. The CE offers everything I loved about the SE, but the carry case and lighter-weight build has been ideal for coming and going from the office. I purchased coloured blank key caps and love how fun they look. Extra bonus is my coworkers think I'm an alien when they see me using it.

Really well built split keyboard kit. I've built a few Corne split keyboard kits with cases I 3D printed but wanted something with a more professional finish to use at the office, and this kit definitely delivered. I wish I'd just bought this kit when I started down the path of split keyboards instead of spending the effort and money to solder up my own from parts first.

The kit arrived pretty quickly and was a joy to assemble and really straightforward. It's great for having an introduction into this type of keyboards without having to spend a huge amount of money or having to go through a lengthy soldering process. It's my first ergo so I'm still getting used to the new layout

This is my second iris, you can see in the pictures that I had the original MX Iris (Rev 7) first. Ever since I got my first Iris, I wanted to try a low profile split keyboard that gives me a better wrist angle for my typing style. Since getting the CE, my first Iris has been packed away!

Super easy to assemble, no soldering needed. The Iris (MX or low profile) is honestly one of the easiest ways to get into the split ergo scene without having to do any soldering, but while being able to customize which switches and keycaps you want.

The aluminum plates feel great. I use sunset chocs with DDC keycaps. I also use a magnetic cable so that it is easy to switch sides without having to stress the USB-C port. I modified the firmware to have VIA with 6 layers, with two separate base layers for Windows and macOS.

I've been all over the place with my custom keyboard journey, and the Iris CE I think will be my last stop for a while. It's got just the right amount of keys that I can make it work in pretty much any context, while still being extremely portable. This is my first VIA compatible board, and it's so easy to tweak my layout on the fly! Can't imagine going back now.

The build quality of the Iris CE is great, the aluminum case feels very premium, and is just weighty enough for the bottom grips to be effective on most surfaces. I thought I would really miss wireless, but it's actually given me a reason to get into yet another hobby... custom usb-c cables!

The only things I would change - and these are very personal preference - is some more aggressive column stagger, and a more spread out thumb cluster.

I opted for the kit, which was super-easy to assemble. The keyboard has been a bit of an adjustment from my normal profile keychron, but I'm getting there and enjoying the experience. A few points that would have been helpful for me:

1. spacing - the description cautions that the spacing is narrow relative to other keyboards. This has not been an issue for me - there are even some keys that still feel farther away than I'd like.

2. switches - I went with the linear reds (the lightest force requirement) and these are still a bit more force than I'd like. I've ordered pinks elsewhere as a replacement.

3. via is super helpful for remapping keys, which was essential for my use of this keyboard

I've spent so much money trying to find the perfect split keyboard for me. I have the Keyboardio 101, the Glove 80, and even a Characorder One.
And none of them were portable enough, silent enough to put in my backpack... until my Iris CE!

I've been using the Iris CE split keyboard since I assembled it, and it's been working flawlessly. I recommend it to everyone I meet.

I went with the aluminum case, and it exceeded my expectations. It has a solid, high-quality feel that really elevates the overall experience. This is my first split keyboard, and honestly, it might be the only one I'll ever need.

I use it both at home and at work, and I'm already planning to buy another identical unit for my workplace. Highly recommended.

The purchase process was great, the assembly was smooth, and the typing feels amazing now that I've learned the layout . I also got the tenting kit which I'm very happy I did.

The Iris CE has a nice high quality look and feel to it. Its built sturdily and looks good. Customer support is top notch. The view times i reached out to to get help i to a very fast reply.

Also the fact that the board uses a rp20240 chip makes it very easy to flash updated firmware to it if you want to use features that VIA does not offer.

The case it comes with is a nice added bonus.

Already recommended this keyboard to some of my friends and coworkers.

Would be even better if there were more switch choices (Ambient Twilight/Nocturnal for example) if you get the prebuilt version.

The board is awesome, absolutely no complaints. Looking back I would NOT get the white keycaps, but I am happy with the low profile/ergo combo.

Had previously purchased another pre built from another vendor and I'm disappointed I didn't work with keeb earlier.

Great build quality, it is a great low profile keyboard. Have been super happy with everything so far.

I found it very easy to type on, and it only took a couple of days to get up to my normal typing speed and accuracy. It did take me about two weeks to settle on a key layout, but I found it surprisingly easy to adjust as I tweaked things to suit my needs.

I equipped mine with 20g Linear Ambients Silent Nocturnal switches and DDC Choc keycaps. I found the MBK keycaps to be too flat and the unlubed Choc Red switches to be too stiff with some nasty spring rattle/ping. I'd suggest buying this keyboard without switches and keycaps and finding better options elsewhere.

The Polycarbonate case isn't great looking, but it's lightweight and fits the PCBs nicely. I was able to add some mild tenting pretty easily by adding some collapsible adhesive feet to the bottom, and I use two UGreen gel mouse "wrist rests" as palm rests while not actively typing.

The slightly tented split setup with super low force switches has gone a long way to reducing my shoulder tension issues.

I might get a second one to keep at the office, though it sure isn't cheap and sadly I missed out on the Black Friday sale, so it might be a while until I can justify it.

This keyboard is a great starter keyboard I'd you're looking to get into custom split keyboards. Maybe even a good endgame keyboard.

Assembly was easy, due to very easy to follow instructions.

I have owned two previous iris keyboards and was pleasantly surprised by this one. The housing and general appearance is much more premium and professional looking. the comfort is great.

My only gripe is the switches (browns) are somewhat noisy, giving a high frequency springy sound.

A great, easy to assemble kit with lots of customization options. It's taking some getting used to if you haven't used this style before, but it's easy to learn. Keebio has amazing customer service as well.
