Our keyboards are designed to be approachable even if you've never built one before. Every kit ships with step-by-step guides (found at docs.keeb.io), and if you get stuck (it happens), our Discord server and the /r/olkb subreddit are where builders and Keebio staff answer questions daily. You're never building alone.

Yes. We work hard to make international shipping as easy as we can. Orders take 7 to 28 days, depending on where you are, and customs duties may apply once the package reaches your country.

Here's how we help: we offer customs prepayment at checkout for most countries, which means the carrier will handle the paperwork and duties upfront so your package lands at your door with no extra steps.

Every order ships with a tracking number emailed to you the moment we send it out, so you can follow your package every step of the way.

For extra peace of mind, you can add Shipping Protection at checkout. If your package is lost or damaged in transit, we work with you to resolve it (we know things can sometimes go sideways with postal services, especially for international shipments). You're not on your own if something goes wrong.

We want every keyboard we ship to feel like the right fit from day one, which is part of why tens of thousands of customers have kept choosing us over our 9+years in business. We'll help you pick.

And if it still doesn't click once it arrives: unused and not soldered, you have 90 days to return it for a refund. For hotswappable boards that have been built and have a defect, we'll exchange or repair within 30 days of receipt. A 5% restocking fee applies to cover payment processing, and you're responsible for return shipping. But if the product arrives defective or damaged, that's on us, and we'll make it right.

Easy to fix. If your order hasn't shipped yet, email us with a screenshot of what you need to add, remove, or change. We'll update the order and invoice you for the difference (or refund if you're removing something).

This happens constantly with builders. You realize you forgot a cable, or want to swap switches at the last minute. We'd much rather help you get the right order than ship one missing a piece.

Every keyboard product page includes a Design & Compatibility section that spells out exactly what it works with. Most keyboards take MX-compatible switches with standard 19.05mm spacing; LM-series boards use low-profile Choc V1 / V2 or Gateron low-profile switches. Pre-built boards come with switches pre-installed; hotswap kits let you try different feels anytime without commitment.

First things first: it's pronounced KEE-bee-oh, not "keeb-dot-io" (that's just our easy-to-remember URL).

We're a small business located in Durham, NC. We build every keyboard ourselves and our team is behind every order. We usually ship within 3 to 4 business days Monday through Friday, and every order is processed through Shopify's secure payment system (credit cards, Apple Pay, Amazon Pay, and Google Pay accepted).
